Album Info:With an eastbound unit tank car train passing through Griffith, IN, it was easy to compare the newer VMSX tank cars built between 6/2014-4/2014 to some slightly older styles.

Title:  Unit Tank Car Train
Description:  Running behind the eastbound BNSF & CN units was a very long string of mostly VMSX tank cars with a few CBTX cars mixed in. Most of the VMSX tankers were constructed between June of 2013 and April of 2014 according to the date built stamp. A few in the string were built nearly the same time but from what appears to be older standards. Good example of a company caught between changing tank car construction standards.
