Description:  A group of Adirondack workers were bringing out the railroad's very popular rail bikes from winter storage in preparation for the season starting in a few weeks. The engine house was started by the Adirondack Railway in 1980 but was not finished when the railroad shut down. It was extended and completed by the Adirondack Centennial Railroad in 1992.

Description:  A lone Alco RS3 was caught by an unknown photographer in an otherwise empty yard. Built by Alco in 1951, it had a V-12 turbocharged 244 prime mover and could generate 1600 hp. In 1966, it was renumbered 8353 and eventually sold to GE. No date, location or photographer was given for this photo.
