Plan 4140 10-roomette/6-double-bedroom sleeper MIDDLE RIVER was photographed leaving New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal on the northbound PANAMA LIMITED. The car was built by Pullman-Standard in October 1949 as Pennsylvania Railroad 8354, for use on the CRESCENT. It was subsequently Penn Central 4374 and then Amtrak 2797. |
