Extra Board. Here is an image of a photo by an unidentified photograher that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 9 April 1967. Shown here is an eastbound Pennsylvania Railroad freight train that derailed right in front of the Passenger Station. It's possible that the F-39B TrailerTrain flatcar nearest to the cameraman was built in the PRR's 12th Street Car Shops across the tracks. The name of the PRR Supervisor pictured here is not recorded. Photo credit: Altoona Pennsylvania History. |
