GN 138170, NP 96069, and SPS 12200 Being Scrapped         
As part of the West Haymarket Development Project in which the old BNSF Passenger Mains and the-X-Yard are removed, the six BN-Heritage box cars that were on static display by the old Lincoln depot no longer have a home. They are seen here awaiting the scrapper's torch at Alter Metal Recycling.

B NK General What a shame! I'm sure a historical club or even a tourist railroad would have purchased these if they had known....or anything else someone like myself would put one in my back yard and use it as an awesome shed! 6/17/2012 2:23:15 PM
