| This locomotive was ordered by Rock Island but delivered to CNW as GP38-2 4602 in November 1979. With the UP merger this EMD was assigned UP 1865 then retired and rebuilt by GATX and returned as UP 367 on a long term lease. After UP removed all leased power from it's roster 367 was patched as GMTX 2302 but remained on property. Although Rock Island did not order dynamic brakes this unit had them added during rebuilding before returning to UP. |
