Surviving Commuter passenger service Silverliner IV 429 leads a quartet of MUs out of Hatboro station and on to Warminster on August 25, 2014. Prior to Conrails startup, MU 429 was delivered as a pair to the RDG in 1976 as part of 88 pairs numbered 101 to 188. They continued in CR-contracted service to Septa until 1983. Some of the RDG 101-188 and 309-399 cars were later renumbered into the 417-460 fleet when their PCB transformers were replaced. |
