Here is a photo of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5414, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during February of 1927 and retired in October of 1956 after 29 years of faithful service. In this context, it's on passenger duty with the Long Island Rail Road. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. (Gift from Brad Mann.) |
