Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5406, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in February of 1927 and retired in February of 1958 after 31 years of faithful service. In this context, it's rockin' 'n' rollin' with a nine-car passenger train. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. |
