Taken at the Western Av. Interlocking where the CMStP&P tracks crossed the CNW tracks this train looks to have made a run at the suburbs and is now hurring back to the terminal for another. #4473 is a GP7R (R for rebuild which included the nose chop). I can find no information that it was ever equipt for passenger operation. That's the Handcock Building just above the end of the unit. |
