ICG GP10 8106, Kankakee, Illinois, July 1975, photo by Chuck Zeiler. Number 8106 was built in March 1955 as IC GP9 9106 (c/n 20285) on EMD Order 5383. It was rebuilt at Paducah during 1971 to GP10 8106, later becoming GMSR 8106, MSRC 1051, RSSX 1051. As you can see, I'm not alone. The occasion is the train following, the American Freedom Train, led by former Reading 4-8-4 2101, temporarily renumbered 1.
